Advice on Companies / Kits for 550s

Hello,

I'm new to the site, just registered. After trying a roadster, my wife and I have decided to sell our 1990 Porsche 928 S-4 and pick up a 550. Can you experienced Spyder owners out there provide me with some of your experiences with the companies you purchased from? I'm considering several at the moment, but they all look decent. This a is a touchy subject and one that will enflame passions you did not know existed. Every owner will think his or her car is "IT". I always say the best one is the one YOU own....

Do your homework. Read everything onthis site and the other one. Then make your decision....

Golden, it's NOT fun and it can lead to hard feelings. This is not a good website to look for a flame war. Many of us have been around for a number years and have become part of a 356/550 brotherhood and sisterhood. We allow each other the space to come to different conclusions and that's why we remain friends.
