Aero mirror placement

Do any of you guys have advise on the placement of Aero mirrors on a Speedster? I am most concerned about vision nto the rear than "correct" placement. Placement forward on the fenders seems to limit rear vision. I notice that IM places the mirrors on the doors at an angle. For reasons that make sense to me in my old age, I want to see Mr. Roadway Express before I pull out to pass.

Left one isn't a problem to see out of it's the right side placement it can't be adjusted far enough inward to be useable. Gordon Nichols has posted a way to easily adapt the rigt mirror. Do a search to pull up the info.

Howard, placing the Aero Mirrors "out on the fender" means you see the mirrors "through the windshield." Mirrors on the door-tops means tough visibility when the side-curtains are in place.

Regarding the right-side-mirror - it can be fastened to the fender turned slightly toward the driver (off center a tad, but hardly noticable) making its useability much better. I had them on the fenders of my first Speedster and I have the Carrera mirrors on the fenders of my new Speedster. They work great.
