aero screens

hi guys - the little one-man (or woman) wrap around perspex or polycarbonate screens

- anyone had a go at making them yourselves, and if so how ? Clearly heat is required, but they bend in 2 planes as well ?

they seem to be hard to obtain

any ideas ?

There is a guy I met, I know he lives around the SF Bay, but I can't remember his name. He worked for Meguiars. Anyway, he had a very nice one made. There is a picture of it on the Vintage Spyder site.

A friend of mine made headlight covers for his Can-am replica. He built a vacuum table with a bunch of heat lamps. I'm sure you could easily make a mold of the shape you need and vacuum it yourself. It's not easy, but he got it done, and the covers look great.
