Carey sent a few pictures of the car yesterday at the upholsterer, she's starting to take shape! With the car being built down south, I don't think those guys can work a camera during that Carnival thingy! The paint job looks great. She left this morning for Colorado for the engine, windows, and final touches before heading north! Thanks to my fellow brethren at SOC for all the suggestions and help!

Thanks guys for the comments, I'm going with the heater boxes only. Carey has an auxiliary blower built into their heater systems that pushes more heat, in theory. I'm hoping the power windows will also help with the extended driving season. Snow doesn't start to threaten till mid October so we'll test her this fall. I hope to have her in a couple weeks and will post more pictures then.

Pat, Henry at IM had installed a power blower in my IM when it was built. I was never dissappointed in how it worked. I drove the car as cold as 20 degrees one day and it did just fine.

If it is of similar quality you should be ok until the real winter hits, and I don't really care to drive my nice car in the dead of winter anyway?
The fan definitly helps get the warm air into the car before it cools down too much, but having gone from that to a gas heater, there is no comparison. It makes no difference what the outside temperature is or if the car is warmed up or not, the heat just pours out. It defrosts the windshield much better as well. Of course you guys in the warmer climates wouldn't know anything about that!
