I'm looking at that video tape right now, it's on top of the TV. Would anyone like to "borrow" it, maybe look at it or make a copy and pass it along to the next interested party? Lemme know, OK?

Except for the musical sub-plot, one of Hamlin's buddies is a song writer who get's played by another buddy who deals his songs to a producer, blah, blah, blah, it's an OK movie with few good car scenes and an insane performance by Dennis Hopper. But when ISN'T his performance insane?

OK, a coupla thoughts;

Dave: Joe Frazier came from my town, Beaufort, SC. His mom and a bunch of relatives till live here, and there's an HGTV-based town called Habersham that's just off of Joe Frazier Boulevard. I think he now lives in Philly, but he gets back here once in a while and usually there's a big to-do when he's here. He's not coming this fall, so we've got the Lt. Dan Band instead.

Stan: On the tach, the 356 tach only went up to 6,000 rpm, so people ran big-ass Sun tachs up on the dash (usually in VW sedans, not so much in Speedsters) because the Sun Super Tach could display up to either 8K or 10K......So, if you were crusin Mulholland Drive looking for Vettes to crush and you shifted at 7,500 or higher, I guess you needed the Sun Super.

Still, Dennis Hopper always played, well, Dennis Hopper........
