Has anyone heard from Jake about his Carrera Shroud set up lately? I just got to thinking that after my Carrera transformation is complete, and I no longer have anything left to do to my car, what will keep me going? An engine transformation! With those bad ass valve covers from Larry and this 'shroud in the works' (2009?) from Jake it'll be the complete package!

The picture above is of a 1600 Carrera engine I completed in 2003, it's not the Carrera cooling system I am working on, but the two share all the same attributes..

Pre- Purchases of the new system should begin at the end of 2008 with a 10-12 month time frame for final delivery of the first systems. Systems will be available through my company and also through Special edition, and you can order your new Beck Speedster or 550 Spyder with a carrera shroud and twin spark plugs per cylinder! The twin plug program is fully developed and the first twin plug 1915cc engines are being delivered to Special Edition this month, making 140HP from 1915cc!

Many aspects of the cooling system are being developed and tested now, but the processes are long and far from cheap. I have already been working on this off and on for 2.25 years...

Units will be made for the TI and TIV engines, more than likely the TI version will be completed first.

It also won't just look the part as I am paying specific attention to function above everything else. I have spent days studying the internals of the original carrera system in hopes of matching those with the design alterations of the TI and TIV.
