Thanks for the response mates! I've been on holiday ingesting some of the amber fluid, but still looking for a straight buggy. A lot of yabber about the Intermeccanica's but I like the shimmer of those platinums. An original might be a stretch, but platinum looks like all apples. Will keep you mates posted, thanks for pissing with me!

Mitch -- if the platinum you are referring to is the outfit based in Auckland NZ, then you may be out of luck... coz they are out of business. Having said that, the cars do pop up for sale from time to time. I've driven a few. They do differ based on when they were made. (That is to say, they got better at it over time.)
