Air Conditioner Evaporator by Danhard, $75

Used Danhard air conditioner evaporator, model 00730. 12 volt, 17,500 BTU, 290 CFM, four 2.5" air outlets. Height: 5.5", Width: 17.0", Depth: 11.4". Includes rheostat, buyer will need to provide the fan switch. Excellent condition, used for three years, was mounted in a 2006 Intermeccanica Speedster. Why am I selling? What was the "combination cool/heat unit" that you replaced it with? Any information you can provide would be nice.

Vintage Air Mini GenII with Defrost, model # 66005-VUZ-A. Unit fit behind the dash, bolted to crosstube, with sufficient space to attach incoming / outgoing HFC-134a and water hoses. 'Used my existing louvers and knobs, though they can provide a variety of louvers, knobs and switch faceplates, as well as different size evaporator / heating units. I ordered direct from Vintage Air, you can order from dealers as well. Vintage Spyders in Stanton, CA installed the unit. It works great.

Looks interesting, but explain the "water hoses"??? I understand that the unit is a condensor for an AC system, but heating??? You have an air cooled car don't you? Or are you just not using the heating capabilies of the unit?
