For sale are my Airkewld BAD Series wide 5 disc brakes for ball joint front ends. The brakes were installed and driven on close to 2 miles. I could not get the bearing races to seat flat nor was i ever able to get the dustcaps installed. Pete Skiba offered me less than 50% on my return or would take 50% off if i installed them and bragged about how great they were on youtube, his blog and the samba. I would have loved to have been able to install them.

Everything is there less the Airkewld supplied master cylinder... it leaked withn the first month and was eventually replaced with a german unit.

Any Questions... Call Pete Skiba at Airkewld. He will tell you how 'trick and 'bitchin' these things are. I paid $1107 for the lot. Make me an offer.

Paul, sorry to hear about your problems with Airkewld. As you may know, I have the same kit, with a Porsche bolt pattern. I also had problems with my install, including pulling out one of the caliper bracket helicoils*. My Airkewld master cylinder makes an unusual sound when I apply the brakes with considerable force. I hope my MC lasts (a lot) longer than yours did.
*it was replaced by Airkewld, free of charge.
He replaced my hub and rotor assembly free of charge. Pulled them out of the box and tried to install the races first, then tap on dustcaps. No different than the first time around. When I tried to return the products initially he told me he would not take them back, I HAD to install them. He called me a shadetree mechanic... Which I am. But I installed a new set of Empi rotors just fine while his sat in a box.

These ARE for sale... I'm just not a very good salesman when it's not something I can back. The set up will be exactly as you would receive from Airkewld. Just not as shiney.
For what its worth... here is the 'dope' video Pete from Airkewld asked me to watch. After a mechanic couldnt install them using a press and after i could not install them with the bearing race tool he told me to use.

This guy was smarter than i and got his 50% off the kit for the video.

Fast forwad to 1:30, he explains the tecnhique. You install the races and bearing at the same time on the spindle by cranking down on the spindle nut.
