Alan, now this is a tow-er with style. Maybe an fifth wheel RV trailer behind it ???? or . . . . Possible replacement for the mighty power stroke? Put the Hoopty power in it and no problem. Would look great with Pearl on the trailer at Carlisle next year. If Cory keeps the Hoopty maybe he could have an interchangeable tow set up ready to bolt on. Talk about madness . . . . LOL

Way cool......

You're right - that cab with a decent Type 4 or, better yet, a Golf turbo-Diesel would be ideal.

I saw a cool car-hauler last Summer: 1946 Ford 3-ton COE (Cab Over Engine) running a bored-out Flathead, LaSalle 4-speed and Borg-Warner overdrive, carrying a color matched 1940 Willys on the back. I looked at that and thought a VW Combi would be a cool hauler, but your pictures are even better!!

P.S: What I really need to do is find another car that I can buy for short money and fix up or finish, and then have one car on each end of my seasonal trek. That way, I could sell the truck and trailer and it would be an easier (and less stressful) migration back and forth.
