It gets dark here about 11 and light about 4 now...

Above 0 most days now but still 2-3 feet of ice on the lake. Was out kite skiing last weekend...hopefully getting out this weekend too. I suspect its getting near the end because ice is melting by shoreline.

I'll have to finish up my trailer hitch for the IM so I can pull my windsurfing gear to the lake in a couple of weeks or so.

Most people would think tow hitch and a IM, what the hell? It appears that it happens in AK and Yellowknife, if it ain't fuctional then it don't happen. We miss 3/4s of the crap that happens in the lower 48 because it wouldn't work up here, thank god! You can go in the nicest 5 star restaurant up here in carharts and nobody would think anything of it....... The ice came off our lakes a few weeks ago and the trout fishing has been spectacular!
