I finally finished all the little projects on my car. Carpet is in, Carerra emblems are on, top is adjusted and dosen't crack my windsheild anymore, headlight grilles, blah, blah, blah... All done just in time to put her away for a long winter sleep. I'm holding out as long as I can because in these parts we still get a few really nice days in November (today 70 degrees). Thanks to all of you for all the advise and help you gave this summer, I really couldn't have done it without everyone's input. Just in case I'm coming across as "done" I, by no means, am done! There are still plenty of other wishful tidbits on my list (wide five wheels, engine rebuild, tranny upgrade, etc...) but they will have to wait until the $$$$ is there. Again thanks to all - Mickey

You got a unique ride. Keep up the good work.

I did my engine last year(I am doing the engine all over again now), I got the wide fives, tires, shocks, disc brakes (front),axle beam, hella 500 fog lights (not installed yet) and so many other things and I am NOT done yet. I guees I am done for a couple of months and then I start all over again. Mickey I know exactly what you mean.

Mickey, there's a lot to like about your car, but two things hit me right off -- I really, really like that red. A lot. And I like the paint-matched wheels. That's brilliant. I'd only ever seen that on Jamie's powder blue car (just got sold in Texas) before.
I think it adds something. A touch of nostalgia, maybe? (If that's not redundant.)
