How about one of these in your speedster. I will definatly look into this at after the 550 build. Imagine a gearbox that you can launch hard with! I am sure it will be pretty difficult to break one of these. In a nutshell they claim that you can modify a scooby 4wd gearbox, convert to two wheel drive and mount in on a pan without cutting the torsion tubes!

If this is the case I am sure that with a little further engineering it should be possible to build a 4wd Speedster.

I like it, but $3700 for a converted gearbox seems a bit steep. I wonder if it would be any harder to install a Porsche 915 gearbox?
