There's been lots of discussion on Lowering, how to lower, and how much to lower in this forum.
I ran across an ad in Hot VWs for a company making Air Ride Kits for VW's.
I thought I'd pass the info along for consideration as a way to lower a Speedster and have the capability of adjusting the ride height as you drive.
I don't know how air bags handle, but this seems to be the current trend in fully adjustable ride height setups.

www.airkewld.com is the website.
The company name is AIRKEWLD

air ride sure is adjustable and you can set them up to ride really nice but the sacrifice of space and background noise not to mention all the holes and hacking you have to do on your car to make it work isnt worth it on a speedster. Not to mention that the rear camber on the airkeld kit is way off.
