In the name of "Speedster ownership" I'll devulge a proven easy to do side curtain build and post assembly.
Side curtain post tip .....
Home Depot / Lowes and pick up (2) (To-Email-Insert-@) $3.59 squared "U" chrome modern cabinet draw pulls. They are the same diameter as the VS / CMC / Fiberfab posts
Cut one of the short legs off
Wrap the remaining chrome piece in a shop cloth so it won't become damaged and put this a vise
Slide a thin deep socket over this piece
Using a six inch or longer 1/4" drive extension attached ,gently bend it to the desired angle
Thread or tap the end to accept your personal choice of retaining hardware

There is a better way to seal the custom side curtain ("Marguard" TM is the best clear Lexan with a scratch resistant coating) at the windshield...
JC whitney sells a near perfect "lip bulb" molding part number 81UH2914B $32.99 for a 25 foot roll so share this with 4 - 5 speedster owners
It has a soft tapered edge that is plyable against the windshield post and frame....
Best to make a template out of cardboard box to test fit a couple of times sliding the molding over the template you get to see exactly how the fot is an what adjustment may be necessary to make a 98% seal.
