ever since my fan gland nut loosened and ruined the fan i am schizoid on loctiting any bolts/nuts on moving parts.

for what its worth, i just put a line of blue loctite on the crank pulley bolt when reassembling it. I figured id rather deal with it being a little more stubborn to remove than dealing with it on the side of the road. just my two scents. I even used the blue on my engine tin hardware. they always seem to back themselves out.
