My intention was not to upset any of you.

Now your talkin', Eric.
Welcome to the Madness.
Yes, Welcome to the Madness!!!!
Nice picts, and yes, welcome!
Welcome from another new guy.
Nice car, and too bad about all the issues.
One thing about my IM is that the speedometer was dead accurate. You guys?
I think you have the new GPS unit in your car

Is Henry using a GPS speedometer with analog mile counter? My GPS unit has a digital readout for the mileage.
It is a great looking car and I can't help but be a little jealous of that photo taken in the rain. When I got caught in a rain/hail storm the leaked like a sieve. And that dash and dash pad look like perfection.
It's a drop top sports car - every one I have ever had since I was 16 years old, has leaked in the rain - except maybe my 1991 Miata.
My Intermeccanica, completed in 2016, also leaks in a heavy rain.
As for the speedometer, Henry uses the best he can get, and they are still not that great. If my memory serves me well, Beck and IM went together on a major instrument purchase a few years ago.
Robert, the entire interior was NOT touched by Henry. It was done by my good friend QC who has won Pebble three times for interiors. He is beyond good. My top leaks just a little, but that feels wonderful with the heater on, which works!
How nice for you.
Bob, what is nice for me? That the top leaks?

It looks exquisite.

Probably that it only leaks a little. The Speedster top is terrible.

That your interior was done by such an expert.
Bob, I changed QC's life 35 years before I met him. That is a bond. When I finally met him a couple tears ago, I slept on his shop floor for a week. We talked into the wee hours. It was one of the pleasures of my life to meet such a legend. He even told me stories about Steve Mcqueen who I had always admired.
You certainly have some stories.
Bob, I do not lie. Yes, I have lived a full life.
Bob, watch this: https://vimeo.com/289173536
Is Gary, Rods father?
Yes. He had my image on his wall for 20 years until it was stolen. He cried when he saw it in color.
IM's are pretty good in the rain but the corners of the door where it meets the front window may drip a bit. In a reallly bad downpour when it is bucketing you might get a bit more of an issue. A good microfibre towel is good to have around you use it also to remove some condensation if you suddenly heat the windshield or cool it with AC.
Sometimes though the great wipers can get over come by the amount of rain and you can override the wipers capacity but most times it is not an issue.
I have driven in big downpours on a motorcycle and that is definitely worse.
Bob is right the VDO guages are better then the chinese knock offs but the lighting could use some help ... there is a new amperage bulb available to increase the night time driving experience.
