Another 60k + Vintage

It bothers me that Kadron carbs are used on those large engines. But, who am I to question Pat Downs?

I’d like to know the specs on these engines. What heads, cam numbers, carb modifications, ect. 145hp seems pretty high for a Kadron motor.

For those interested, https://www.thesamba.com/vw/fo...;highlight=kadron+hp. This is a 2332 that just eked out 150hp with Kadron’s, but took a lot of work. I’d speculate this motor would have made 170-180hp with 44 IDF’s.

I think Greg probably does it for reliability for the mechanically challenged buyers.
