Mitchell,
I am having my speeedster built at Thunder Ranch as we speak. I am flying to San Diego July 29th to take it for a shake down cruise. 10 days up and back along Pacific Coast Highway before Tom ships it to Baltimore. Feel free to call with any questions. Tom McBurnie will be building a Porsche powered RSK for me down the road. I highly recommend Thunder Ranch. Feel free to give a call to talk more about why I went with TR. 410 292 0511.
Paul

Yeah, contrary to the comment above that "Thunder Ranch is the only one with a tubular frame" (does that mean ROUND frame members??), Beck is based on a tube frame (both their turn-key car AND their kit), IM is based on a tube frame, SAS is based on a tube frame, etc. If you want to get technical, probably a CMC could be called a "Tube frame" too, but I'm afraid that the purists might not agree. tom McBurnie builds a nice tube Speedster/Spyder frame. So do others.

Unless you have the SEMA reproduction car registration legislation in your state, having a pan-based car might just be to your advantage....
