I have a black wide body I believe to be a cmc car. I don't have much history on the car other than I acquired it from a local fellow who said he bought it in Atlanta and drove it back to the hills of TN where it has sit in a garage since, for the most part anyway. The last 6 months or so in mine, I have pulled the motor just to give it a little love and am in the process of installing discs upfront and repairing some shifter issues. After which it would make someone a good reasonable quality driver. I wouldn't sell it but  I accidentally stumbled across a fiberfab car that I actually went to fiberfab's headquarters in Miami and bought in 1992.  I was a year out of high school an unable financially at the time to finish it.  I paid. 8800.00 and some change for it at the time. So anyway I have an extra car now that needs a good home. If anybody is interested let me know and we can discuss the details.  I would consider a trade as well, thanks. Oh yeah, I will try to take some pics over the weekend.

The fiberfab car I recently acquired for the second time is in need of some help and I fear the widebody will end up on the backburner for ever. It has been so long I can't say for sure but I believe I picked the car up in April of 92. It may say on the paperwork somewhere, I will have to check.  When did they shut down? I will try to get pics posted soon. Thanks for the reply.

Working on the photos, however I currently have it partially disassembled as I mentioned early to resolve a couple of issues.  It seems to be a mostly unmolested build as cmc intended it. Which in my opinion has some issues that could and should be improved upon.  It is ball joints up front and swing arm in the rear. Drums all around though I do have discs planned for the front, when time permits.  Motor is dual carb and runs strong, I haven't went to the trouble to determine actual displacement.  I don't know what is considered reasonable price wise.  It appears given the number of builds you have properly completed on what I assume to be previously built cars you might be able to lend me your wisdom in this department.  I would be pleased if it could fetch somewhere around 15000.00. I did manage to find a single pic which isn't very good or useful but I figured I would include it just the same

Better photos (more) would help justify price.  A faded saggy interior and bad fitting top are deal killers - as are non functioning gauges/lights. You need to spruce it up soon as now is the top dollar buying season.  There was just a very nice old IM that sold quickly for $14.5k near you.

Hence nick name "Dos Speedie".  When I fist met Bill years ago in DC - He had just got the 2 cars and I had talked him into meeting up with Lane Anderson (on travel to DC) and a few other local Speedie guys (Kelley + ?).  On was to Mexican restaurant Bill found a roll of bills ($200?) going up the escalator - I got a free dinner and a new friend (albeit a little distant). I'm guessing Bill got over zealous bidding on ebay - and was lucky high bidder twice!

I have been watching eBay for several weeks now and must have missed both of those.  Thanks for sharing them, both are very nice. Hopefully I can get pics of mine before to much longer, perhaps I was premature in asking if anyone might be in the market for my car. I was just curious if anyone on here was or would be when it was ready. Thanks again.
