Others will be able to offer more than I can but they are known buy cars and resell them for quite a markup. Sellers have made a deal with what appeared to be a private buyer only to see their car listed on the BHM website a little while later.
They sure like to attempt to sell at premiums to the market and some cars sit for many months. Others appear to be shown available on the website that have been sold months previously, presumably to generate phone calls and leads.

That was my experience. I called about some I saw on their site a couple years back and was told as much. They wanted to know what I was looking for to see if they could find a match.
I deal with Carl from BHM frequently (parts and advise) and have never had an issue. Obviously I wouldn't;t be a buyer for any of his cars, so I can't comment on that, but again, never had any issue.
There is a beautiful Beck suby spyder advertised on their site. Silver with black leather and blue darts. I called about this car almost 4 years ago. It did not exist. It still doesn't.
Sold my wife's Blue coupe to them almost four years ago, and last time I looked at their website it was still listed there.
Just checked, it is still listed.

The question is, is the car still just on the website or actually still on the lot
Right

I almost called them to inquire about that car just to hear what they say.
Shady sales tactics...I've called them over the years to inquire about a few cars that are on their website but (already sold they said) don't exist.
They bought the yellow spider a few years ago for $19K and listed it for $30+K
