Anybody have a 2180?

I was thinking about building a 2180 this winter, just curious as to if anybody has one and if it's still streetable. Thanks!

I have a 2185. Not sure where the extra 5 comes from. Runs great no problems.

2180 USED to be about as large as you could go. It uses 92mm bore X 82 stroke. I have a 2165 in mine 94 bore x 78 stroke. I think the walls on a 92 are thicker.

Maybe I should stay more tame, a good running 2110...

nope - 92 walls are thinner than 90.5's and 94's

2275 CC ran great sans 44 webers that I did not now how to tune. You sound like a fix it guy & should have no problems with that. Roland Rascon did my engine. I drove it to from Chicago to Carlisle PA without a hiccup last Spring.

I think "sans 44 webers" means you ran it without the webers. No wonder you had trouble tuning it.

What's the formula to calculate displacment? As an example, use 84 stroke and 90.5 pistons.

Formula for engine displacement in cc's:

Bore (mm) x Bore (mm) x stroke (mm) x .0031416

The above is the formula for calculating the area of a cylinder, which is area of base (pi r squared) x height.
