Just as a matter of reference for Desi - I've attached a couple pics I took of his car on tech nite at his shop (in Irvine, Orange County).
Desi installed the "clear-bra" on his bad boy and you would be hard pressed to see it (he's a solar tint installer by trade). Seems to do the job as far as paint protection. Worth checking out -
