My neighbor has one but it's been restored quite nicely and he drives it a lot. I can ask but he probably wants more than you're friend is willing since his is restored.
Gordon, there are a few of these that show up at our local C&C regularly. I'll ask if they know of any for sale, but it will probably be a few weeks until I'm there next. Is your friend in your area, and is he looking for any condition, or just a project car?
BTW, I think Stan is scamming you. I saw photos of 'his' car on Trovit last week.
@Gordon Nichols Panteras do show up on Bring-a-Trailer now and again. They aren't usually project cars though. There is one on there now.

Yup. Saw one recently on BAT. Also there is the Pantera Club. Leno mentions it in one of his episodes. Beautiful car. Hope he finds a clean one and lives in a cool part of the country. Lots of greenhouse.
The one on BAT is currently at $42,250 with 4 days left.

I remember when all of the Playboy Clubs had their Playmates driving around in Hot Pink Mustangs back in the day. I wonder if that Pink Pantera was something like that?
My friend has been scouring ads and has his eye on one in California that was to be checked out by a friend he trusts (they both build Hot Rods) today. I've forwarded a bunch more from you guys, some of which he was aware of, two not.
We'll see how this turns out. He currently has a couple of street rods (one for the past 40 years) and his DD is a HellCat. He knows what he wants, has friends (like us) who can spot them and will end up with a good one when he's done.
I'll let you know how he makes out. I hope he gets A/C in it or I won't ride with him in Summer......
