Well these are the three tubs that I have located here in the NE. None of them set my heart on fire and the Both IMs on Ebay would cost a pretty penny to refit to all that I deem as cool for a speedster and would probably not give any ROI other then enjoyment and what fun is that?

-Still looking and still finding four Cobras to every one Speedster. Oh well that is half of the fun part I guess. Any and all feed back is still welcome my Speedster Brethren! See you in Carlisle, I suppose!

I also posted under best east coast speedster !

Chris and ALL Look seriously at this speedster!

The below speedster is the absolute most unique professionaly assembled speedster I have seen . It is located in the same town I live in ....this speedster is what got me so hooked on speedters in general some ten plus years ago! It is a true one of a kind show piece! The custom interior body work and paint are flawless...If you have the pocket jingle to obtain this car Go For It the owners name is Mike Haverstock...I can't say enought here except the pics do the car no justice what so ever it is a diamond! Not my speedster but something that needs to be bought without hesitation!

I have yet to post an endorsment for any speedster here on the SOC but this IS the exception !

Alan thanks for the feed back! The red car is truly unique and I love the roof, but it sounds like he wants a ton of cash for it. When looking at it as a potential purchaser with a world of pervious Speedster experience from the ground up, I see some additional $$$$$$$$$ to be spent off the line for me to make it truly mine.

First, I had a Bergman built 1835 in my 1st tub that let go at 2300 miles, when we tore it down everything was off kilt making me very biased against that builder from that vintage.
Chris,

You are your own person hence "you are not wrong" in any way in wanting to make a speedster your own persona ....
But this car is the as you put it is the 1980s hot rod /Porsche ....
It is so unique and something that is a combination of Speedster and street rod art on wheels Hence it appeals to this 54 year old!
I just talked with my wife Kim about grabbing this one but, there are currently two speedsters in my garages and another in the shop daughter gets marries May '06 so for now .....I am cut off :)
Above anything else, rims, gauges, anything, I want reliability in my next tub, that is what is pushing me slightly towards a Cobra. Even after my Bergman motor bit it, I was always fixing something on the new engine. That is what really worries me about buying any used Speedster again.

BTW Alan, I was not knocking hot rod styled Speedsters, I went down that road before with my old car and wanted something a bit different this time around so I am stuck trying to figure out what level and style of car to try and pick up and tinker with and still stay in a budget.

All in all, the red car is still atop a short list, depending on what the owner is looking to pull out of it?????

I would have been proud of you, had you done it. Hadn't it gone to you, it would be hanging in front of my desk in some exotic Brazilian wood frame, along with my ever expanding miniature 356 collection.
Official color is 2005 Porsche Titanium Metallic. (O:. I'm "Mental Ward" pumped right now, as X-Mas is just around the corner.I'll keep you posted Bro (O:.~R
Rick, I have my fingers and toes crossed for you, if they pull any monkey biz, just let me know and I can have some of my people from Palermo there in no time flat ;-) As for your color, it is by all means a great choice and it will work wonders at time of resale!!!

AS for the case of the Black JPS Speedster, does any one have any idea as to what buying new would be versus the 22.5K they are asking???? Also are the JPS 1900+cc motors usually the Brazilian Bombshells or are the typically aftermarket built?
