I saw this ebay listing for a black Speedster. https://www.ebay.com/itm/223599837906
It appears to have a tube frame, is it an old Beck or Intermecanica? The price might not be too bad if so. Anyone know the make of this build?

Looked through all of the photos.
If I was gonna guess, I would guess that it is a CMC built by the kit buyer. Don’t know where you saw the ‘tube frame’ - I couldn’t see any evidence of one. Looks like a pan, to me but the photo is pretty dark. Carbs look like original 32’s (pretty small) .
Price looks decent to slightly high for what it is.
Definitely not a Beck. I can’t really see the frame, but the floor looks like a CMC.
Definitely not a Beck, IM, JPS or Vintage. Most likely a home built CMC or FiberFab.
Definitely a pan based car. Several tells point to what others have said about it being a CMC/Fiberfab:
Non-standard door pulls, gap at the top of the doors wider than the bottom, non-standard gauges, articulated top, and there are 21 snaps holding the top on to the rear cowl.

Dude. You must be bored or somethin'.
Most indications point to a CMC or FF the top is funky not sure of the source

Rafael?
The dark underside photo tripped me up. I can see it now but at first glance it didn't look like a VW pan. I thought the pic was looking toward the front when in fact it was of the rear facing view. Thanks for solving the mystery for me.
