Anyone own a Thunder Ranch Speedster ? I am building a TR , it accepts the usual Beetle pedal assembly. It will need to be altered to make the horizontal clutch arm function correctly .... wondering if anyone has been down this road ? Hopefully an answer before I take it to a machine shop to apply my design fix ...

Ok, I’m having a senior moment.
What/where is “the horizontal clutch arm”?
The semi-vertical arm inside of the tunnel on the end of the clutch pedal shaft?
Hydraulic clutch I think you just drill the hole.

The horizontal clutch arm shaft that is part of the base of the pedal assembly... the TR frame as it has a 1-1/2 x 1-1/2" square tube frame at the pedal mount and the cutch cable hook on the end needs to be extended 2" to the right.

TR Speedster has a cable, not a master/slave like a Spyder.
A TR Speedster has a different frame than a pan Speedster, hence Alan's question. So maybe why Gordon is confused?
So whoever built a TR Speedster or has taken one apart re: clutch/pedal cluster needs to respond...
These guys modify that shaft to eliminate the hook. They may be able to sell you a longer shaft:
Well, THAT sucks.
And I’ll just bet that your design fix is going to a longer clutch shaft.
Unless you do a “Mr. Erickson” and go to an hydraulic clutch.
I honestly don’t know which version would be more work........
Looking at the http://www.classicbugparts.com/ shaft photos, I'll not extend the hook end of the shaft but will extend the other end of the shaft this way it is supported within the pedal assembly...... Tnx Mike and Gordon
They have an option that moves the clutch pedal to the left. I don't know if this involves a longer shaft or if it would be long enough for you.
Took it at the machine shop and came up with a plan
I usually don't flustered but this was a unique challenge, I had a concern that extending the shaft 2" that it might bend or facture over time, so we decided to fabricate a spacer that will support the arm rod against the pedal vertical mounting surface , if that makes sense ...good, but I'll post a photo when I get it back and installed.
Was it Thunder Ranch that Kitman took over? If so. maybe they have a pedal solution.
You could simplify this whole thing by just installing an auto-stick transmission!
That was a joke.........., seriously, just a joke.

Would it make sense to add a zerk fitting on the supporting spacer so you can grease it?
And don't get him going @Theron - He might just do it.
