BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA
Marty, I just had a great visual here... too freaking funny my friend...
As for the mileage, Ins and engine Ronald... I'd have to say about 25,000 over the past 4 years on a 1776 engine. Only thing I've ever done is fix a broken throttle cable and clutch cable... Both easy fixes even for ME! Ins is even easier... classic is fine if you go for replacement value only.. almost cheap here in sunny Cali.
Listen to Vince too, buy used and make sure you love these tubs.. then upgrade by selling your used tub to another newbie like YOURSELF and use the cash for a BIG down payment and have Kirk build your dream tub! Just like Vince did..
That's how WE roll...
Water in a speedie... never happen.. we don't drive in the rain... right FOLKS!
Speedster "D" where's my drain plug!

I'm finally picking up my tub from kirk tomorrow! I would agree to find a nice used tub and fix it up to be your own. A little more work, but you can save a ton.
Sorry to be the dissenting voice-they just look WRONG....
There is no wrong, just opinion and that's how we all remain happy ~
What a hypocrite (me) !
Stock-looking-Apal owner has just bought a widebody !
It has two features I was planning for my car-RHD (I live in OZ)
and a 2 litre type 4.
Pics to follow in newbies.
