This Spyder has same engine as my car. Straight 4 2.0L SOHC VW/Audi. What Tranny is this car using? How is engine tranny configuration? This engine barely fits in my 356. I have no idea how it could fit in a mid engine Spyder. Seems to be priced well. Crate engine with 2000 miles. 117hp. Quick in my car. Should really move a Spyder with a 5 speed.

Yeah, I built those 6-7 years ago. Longitudinal set up with a Audi Fox 5 speed box, custom axles, DeDion rear suspension. This particular motor is a VW flex-fuel with Marelli computer so it will self tune for gasoline, E85, straight alcohol, etc... We did a limited run of these for the US (maybe 20-25 cars) but it is the main model for Brazil and is the model that we used to pass TUV and ADR. They were fairly quick, but the Audi TT and VW GLi powered versions I did were a lot more fun... ;-)

Thanks Carey. Ad was just deleted. Still miss previously owned Ducatis and Spyders. Then I take a little Valium and I'm ok.
