I got my Body from Rafa this afternoon!!! It came a day or two sooner than I expected. I’m Very Happy with the work he did it Exceeded my expectations! Tomorrow I will do Some cutting to a crossmember and get it all the way down on the chassis and take some measurements and now the fun begins! I will take some more pictures tomorrow after we get it sat all the way down on the chassis.

Very cool!
we be hoping for a LOT more pictures. this should be really cool . . .
And I've heard of "wide fives" all over this site. I think I see a wide five grouping here, actually.
Excellent, Arden! That's going to be sweet!
Ooooh the anticipation!
This'll be fun to watch!
Always fun to follow someone's new build.
Just keep the final goal in mind.

I know what I want my car to be, generally. I must have some squirrel DNA in me though because I can see a new shiny object and have to cross the road to get it.
I have no final goal except to have fun.
I wish I had the ability to say enough is enough. So does my wife.
Late to the party. Looks fantastic, @Former Member.
Progress today had to remove the Kaferbar on the True Track rear suspension to get some measurements. Going to have to lengthen 1”—1 1/2” and channel the back sub frame it’s resting right against my shock’s. Here is a couple pictures check out the new steering wheel and hood scoops on the last two.

Looking awesome with that period-correctly-sized wood wheel.
Nice. I like the wheels.
@Former Member- What size tires and rims are on the chassis? Those sidewalls look pretty thin...
@ALB The rims are 17 X 7 Smoothie’s the tires are 205- 40R 17. It’s going to take some massaging to make them work. I’m not going to give up on them quite yet I like the looks of them. But in the end if they won’t work they won’t work and then back to the drawing board. I didn’t know what they were until last night around 2 AM! Couldn’t sleep and started researching on the computer Holy Sh*! I couldn’t believe the price on them!! They are Pretty Proud of them!
Are the 17" wheels from Airkewld in Arizona?
@DannyP Yes they are Danny
@DannyP They are Airkewld. I don’t know where they are from, they came with the chassis when I bought it.
Re chassis: wish I had that under my Speedy. It's so cool to learn how things get done right. This will be a very special car some day. Glad to be along for the ride, so to say.
Arden, I wanna cry every time I see that chassis. It’s so beautiful. If it handles half as well as it looks, you’re going to have a special car.
Looks really good! Did you articulate the suspension through its range and check for clearance?
I'd go for "stretch." It looks an inch or two short in the wheel wells from the pics.
@LI-Rick yeah clearances are all good I may have to sand a little fiberglass in the rear arches but very little if any.

Sweet! Vintage or eBay/Amazon?
@dlearl476 Vintage from watch dealer on eBay tradervic101
Niiiiice! I like that.
I'd love to see a tutorial video of how to use these on a TSD ralley.
I'm going to have to admit myself into a twelve-step program for not buying that fantastic chassis :~(

Arden, how thick is that steel? Are you going to weld it to the chassis?
@LI-Rick it’s 11Ga. And yes I’m going to weld it to the chassis
@Former Member- I gotta' know - what's your line of business? I'm seeing some nice stuff and skills not recently acquired.
@Stan Galat I’m in the Sand & Gravel business.
