Are there any black colored spyders out there?

I have a blk vintage 57 spyder (Greg's 1st build, that makes it #1...ohhh possible collector's one day). I have only seen one other blk spyder and that was six years ago in Torrance or Harbor City Calif. I think it looks kick ass and aggressive in black. Besides, 95% are silver and its good to see something different. (see my pics) Are there any other black spyders out there?

yes there are...I have seen pictures of a wicked one that has a 911 6 cylinder in it. I think it is in the Bay area.

Hey Mike, that sounds sweet. I was literally feeling like the "black sheep" of the spyder community. Don't get me wrong, I love it in black, but I just wanted to know if there were any others. There must not be that many considering your reply is the only one I've recieved since writing this post. Sometimes I feel like a Black Widow spyder i.e. all alone and extremely dangerous ;) .

i was thinkign the same thing when picking out a color scheme for my kit.. until i saw a black one the other day.. so i changed plans.. it's going to be black.. with a topcoat of blood-red pearl.. looks black, until the sun glints off of it at the right angle, showing bright red in that location only. :-) different, and sure to turn more heads in porsche crowds.
