I think you might have me confused with someone else making lenses? I'm currently producing Porsche 356-style dash knobs & dealer badges.
Here is the other Idea. If Glenn is set up to do it? A molding size light w/t 3 or more micro LEDs in it that slips on to the end of a shortened molding. it will finish out at 30mm long and blend into the molding profile .I had some trouble with my photo deluxe. But you can barely notice the amber end of the molding just in front of the door.

Hopfully?
I tryed the the lexon marker light idea ,But the LEDS look to ucky.
I am ready to send the protype lens to Glenn.
IF? I do much more hollowing on the inside, I may destroy it.
I think I will go traditonal on the bulb using the smallest one Vw offered. I have a neat idea for the inside refracton ridges should look simuliar to the beehive type
A hidden base will snap into a 1/4" hole in the body and the lens will simply cover it and slip onto the molding.

I need to take a poll on which end of the fender molding is most prefered by most owners for a marker light mount.(If opp ed)
The headlight end mount would be a pointy ended light (per: Glenn's Idea} in the molding.
My concept would be on the other end starting near the door seam

I think Henry At IM, nnd John Leader at JPS might be the best Judges.
