Gerd -

On the Los Posas/101 Junction (in Camarillo) there is a plaza on the south-west corner (ocean side of 101). There are a few eateries (Wendy's, McDonald's ,etc.) there where you can hang out until we get to that location.

PM me so we can exchange cell numbers and I will call you Friday morning when we are about 10 minutes away from that junction. We should be reaching that location around 10:00-10:30 Friday morning.
You guys traveling from SoCal to Paso on Friday better pack your ponchos. Weather dude says 50/50 chance of rain for L.A. and thunderstorms are predicted for the Central Coast region for all day Friday.

Saturday in Paso Robles looks mostly dry, but not too warm (low 60's).
Then, Sunday, for the drive home - more rain.

I'm betting the hotel will have more open rooms than just Bill George's.

Tell me again why we do this in April?
Ok - WE MADE IT!! It snowed, sleeted and rained. I kept having to stop and warm up even with ski clothes on... But the spyder and I are checked into Adelaide Inn. We are either very late for our check in today or very early for tomorrow's....

By the way - GERD BRING A LIGHT ITS VERY VERY DARK HERE!!!

***Southbound Detour****

For you guys heading down I-5 that intend to take 41 across to Cholame (great shortcut) you are not going to get a shortcut... 41 is closed. You take 33 to afghanistan and then turn to 46... I am really tired and didn't check the odometer but I think its a good 50 miles longer than the old shortcut...

NUTZ! If I knew Scott was stopping in Medford, he could have stayed at our house. The garage had a nice empty spot smack in the middle.

Of course, as much as Steve likes Scott's car, there may have been an issue when Scott tried to leave with it!!

By the way, the sun is out, there is not a cloud in the sky. What an AWESOME day! I have to work for a while today and then clean the car. Oh good heavens the car is really really filthy....

Jim Ignacio and all coming from the South

If you guys get off the 101 at Los Berros/Thompson exit, turn left and go 4.6 miles to the stop sign and then turn left. Go 1/4 mile to Hwy 1, turn right and go through Oceano, Grover Beach and into Pismo Beach, it is a fun drive. Besides that I will be positioned about a 1/4 before that stop sign, on a curve in the road, taking your picture as you come around the curve. Smile and stay at least 50 yards apart so I can get all the cars. I took some practice pics today. I think you'll like them. Give me a call when you get to Tefft Road so I can get into position. Rain or shine, I will be there, so smile even if you're freezen your arse. Think of Angela. There ain't no damn snow in these parts.
OK, Speedster Crazies, Sharon and I sat at the Topanga Motel for hours and no one showed up !!! Just kidding! We flew in this morning and met with John Steele (what a generous guy !!), drove into Malibu for lunch, found the Topanga Motel so we knew where to go in the morning and are now just enjoying a quiet time here at the hotel. Wow ... no snow, no wind. This cannot be real :) See you in the morning. (I be the guy with the powder blue speedy, the good looking blonde and the big grin)

Drive safe, drive fast, grin wide ... drive dry!
