Attention Lurkers

Step away from the computers and come join us at events. I've heard from several people that they have not only lurked on the forum but also at events, particularly our central coast gathering (Pismo, Ca this year) and Carlisle. But only after they purchased/built their cars did they join us publicly. Step out of the closet. We'll accept exactly as you are. The more the merrier, with or without a car. And I promise, we don't bite...well, most of don't ;-)

I'll never forget these two old guys watching us work on Lane's car when we were building it at Carlisle. Chris and I were relatively close to them while doing body prep using dremel tool rasps and making lots of noise.

One of the guys yells over to us; "Hey! How many of these kits have you guys built?"

Chris yells back: "None! This is the first!"

First a lurker, then a participant, then a builder.

Besides, all you lurkers, We're all a really cool bunch of folks, no matter where we're all from. Getting together with us is like going to the best family reunion you ever wished you went to. Honest.


Join us at an event, even if it's a small one.

Resistance is Futile..... 8>)
