Peak Porsche?
I'd say so. These cars, esp'y the Speedster, are perfect. Hate the color, but other than that, how do they say?? 100 pt??
I love the Spyder colors, blue with the white fin-tops, awesome!
Sure Jerry, you just want to put these cars back into the world . Doesn't hurt that your going to make 4-5 million bucks. Who you crappin?
Marty, obviously it is for the good of the people.
Well, I dunno a thing about Seinfeld, except that he must have almost as much money as God at this point, and can do whatever the f*** he wants. And I believe these cars are, at this poin, museum pieces. They are so perfect and so expensive that I can't think of how in the world they would be driven for the fun of it. Maybe ol' Jer figured that out, decide to cash in and is going to ask Henry to build him a car he can drive? Try to imagine, if you can, what Henry could do with a customer with such deep pockets? I mean really. If I was Mr. Seinfled, I might keep the Speedy, just because it's so perfect, get it painted a different color, sell the others and book a plane to Vancouver. I mean I really would do that.
Watching Seinfeld work I get the impression he'd be a great customer for Henry. But you never know. Some people are such neurotic perfectionists that they can be the worst possible customer, regardless of pocket-depth. Comedians are always interesting, complicated people.
Well, Jerry's going to be by later this morning to pick me up for coffee in a 250GT SWB. We'll laugh and crack jokes. I suppose I'll ask him about the concurs auction, and maybe drop a subtle hint about Henry's cars if the subject comes up.
I'd watch that episode.
So after Jerry has sold all of his Porsches, will he go out and buy a Miata? I can see him doing one of his ride along clips for coffee in a nice pink one with a rainbow stripe.
