O.K. Gonna try this again. The Chandler Auto Museum is having one of their open house on Saturday Aug.21. they only do this 2 or 3 times a year
If anyone is interested, I will put together a run using basically the same route as the backroads to Santa Barbara run earlier this year, meet at Topanga and the Coast Hwy, cruise up the coast to Decker Cyn to Lake Sherwood/Hidden Valley Back down Portero Rd to Oxnard farmlands The Museum doesn't open till 10am, so will probably have time to stop for breakfast.
Some coastline, canyons, and beautiful countryside. for those who want to return home quickly, the 101 is only a few miles from the Museum.

Mike,

Great shots. I especially like the green 4dr dual cowl phaeton taken from above. Got to be a Duesenberg. They really look good in that shade of green. If John Leader was with you I bet he tried to hop in that Carrera GT and drive off with it. I've never been to that museum but looks like my next trip to SoCal should include that stop. The Chrysler Town and Country is an outstanding auto also. They are really imposing. Thanks for showing us some of them.

Bruce
Love the Carrera GT. On Saturday night I got to go for a quick ride in one. Makes my 190hp IM seem pedestrian and archaic. Very humbling, sorta like a cross between a lonely playboy playmate and a liquid fueled rocket. I had a giddy nervousness that lasted for a few hours after.
