Pretty little replies, for someone who isn't mad and out-right pissed at the replies he got...
This forum REALLY looks, sometimes, like a social experience field... lol

So, Alan,
How much did it cost?

Dale, you crack me up!
Other than that I couldn't possibly comment...

Somewhere, buried in the posts up above, Gerd paid me a complement that I should recognize and appreciate.
Thank you, Gerd.
The way I am I got from my father, who passed away in his sleep at 91, just a few weeks ago (and part of the reason I haven't been on here much lately). By all accounts of friends and neighbors, he was a really cool guy, even in his 90's. I try to treat people the way he treated people, although sometimes, especially on here, it's hard.
We're getting more new usernames all the time who are trying to "fit in" with the group and some try to impress us with their knowlege or expertise right from the get-go, often without realizing that we've all been there before and they're just the latest upstart asking the same questions we've all heard many times before. We can be a tough group, but we give out a LOT of concise, accurate and FREE information to anyone who asks - like that given way up above by Larry; He was spot on and mentioned everything I saw, too. That doesn't mean that the recipient likes what they read or that they agree with it, but at least I, for one, expect them to be civil and, yes, classy about it. Seems like some of them can't be either of those so, at those times I've learned to just go read a book for a while (currently reading Hemingway's "At First Light" - it's kinda dragging, though.......) Reading makes things look a lot less significant and my blood pressure stays even.
Of course, there are those times when I wouldn't mind having a Photon Torpedo that I could send out to a specific IP address and nuke some SOB.............
But I'm too classy to do THAT.

Alan,
As a closing remark. I truly am sorry that my comments offended you however, as previously stated, you asked for and welcomed any and all comments.
Unfortunately in our society, when someone has something that they believe is authentic, valuable, non-replaceable, antique, historic etc etc etc etc and, are ultimately told that the value is intrinsic in nature or in other words, the value is solely in the eyes of the beholder, they often times become defensive and critical.
The intent was to point out the discrepancies, not to insult you or demean your property.
It's called constructive critisim !!!

On a lighter note, does this German babe look authentic?

At the expense of bursting your bubble.
Her boobs are fake, she's had plastic surgery on her face, arms, legs, a tummy tuck and those jeans are designer Knock off's.
And just to add to your misery, she's anorexic with a fatal and incurable STD

Larry, leave my Heidi alone!!!! :)
WRT what Gordon said, when I bought my 911 last summer the day I picked it up I had to charge my phone while driving it home, long story short I had electrical problems. I went to a well known porsche forum and looked for help and got flamed by some guy for worrying about having my phone charged while I was driving an "enthusists" car. My point - I have pretty thick skin and it takes a helluva lot more to chase me off then getting flamed by some "Porsche-prick". Since then I hit that forum about as much as I hit this one. If you can't stand being critiqued or you want sunshine blown up your a$$ then you shouldn't go on the www asking cuz someone will always have an opposing view.

Larry, I agree with your comments 100% about the engine. But, If a 20 year old pic of Heidi can't loosen things up, nothing can. Party on Wayne....
Nice looking cars there, Vince! Love those Intakes!
I love my replica - if it was an original, I'd probably be like those ridiculous trailer-queens, never getting dirt on the wheels! Mine, I can have fun in! I love my replica!
Regards, Mike.
