I wonder if the F.A. Porsche A.G. (and whatever other letters apply) will be at the auction by proxy. Hell, they could sell one Cayenne and cover the millions they'd need to buy their car back.
Maybe we could whip one up out of fiberglass and put an in-line Cheby six in it ...
Took the family to the FREE Miramar Aircraft Museum last weekend. Highly suggested if in San Diego. Real planes from WWII to nearly current. Walk up to them and stick your head in cockpit. Including helocopters, from Hueys to Cobra gunships. The guide described the Hornet as a big engine/gas tank with a pilot thrown in as an afterthought.

Sorta like that V-16 Auto Union. An engine and chassis, with a "piloto" thrown in as an afterthought. Aren't the drivers feet in front of the front axle line?
