Improved side curtain post inserts....
The older CMC & Fiber-Fab type were made with a raised rolled top The ones currently available from the west coast provides a brass type wire crimp, both styles allow lateral side curtain movement at the windshield post and top flap.
I am in the process of making an improved side curtain post insert that will fit into your preexsisting drilled door top rail. These will have a closer inner wall insert tolerance that will provide some improvement at the side curtain against the top and improved cosmetic detail for your speedster. There is only .003 difference with the older CMC / Fiber-Fab post stanchions as well as the current ones so the improved inserts will fit all.
I have not firmed up a price (per set of four) but they will be reasonable and will be a plus on any speedster.
