David, most if not all oil for aviation gasoline engine use is specially formulated. It has extra components for the fact that the fuel we use in aircooled piston aircraft is 100LL. Thats 100 octane, Low Lead. That should not be confused with Unleaded which is what we use in our cars most of the time. This added expense will help you in no way unless your using regular gas and if you are you should be adding an octane booster, much better money spent for several reasons.
The engine will run cooler with higher octane fuel.

The link to this item even says the following about the product

"The evidence is irrefutable, at this point, that TCP - by adding lead scaveniging - significantly improves spark plug life in engines that use leaded gasoline."

Your better off with Kendall GT1 or Mobile1 and a good full flow oil filter, plus maybe a filter magnet, which is debateable considering the quality of the filters nowadays.
