Well after a lengthy search (and a few painful life curveballs) I finally found a Vintage Super wide for sale that was set up close to how I would want it.  It has a custom chassis built by Kevin and Coolrydes.

Link to build here - its the second car down - Gray super wide..

I purchased it from a dealer in Santa Barbara CA (it was there on consignment) - I had it shipped to Vintage to have a hard top made for it and the standard bumpers (I prefer that look) put on.  Cant wait for it to get here in Florida but I think thats still probably a month out as Kirk said the hardtop may take a few weeks.

Here are some crappy pics I got from the dealer...

Thanks for the compliments guys - I am looking forward to getting in it and seeing how it drives compared to my old speedster.  I still need to get details on the motor and trans ( I know its a ranch pro street per Kevin) - been having a hard time on that - I am told it was replaced but thats all I know.  He spent a little over $26k on a new pan, suspension, brakes, rollbar, pedals, and new aluminum bomber style seats.

The suspension and brakes really sold me - it was something I wanted to do to my last car.  I am still thinking subaru power but will wait until I see how it runs with whatever it has installed.
