Just thought I would let everyone know that I just rolled into Chilliwack around 4PM today after a fantastic trip to Knotts. The breakdown south of Salem Oregon was a little tense but only left me about 6-7 hours behind schedule. When Henry caught up with me the trip really started to happen. The five car sprint from Tracy with Dale, Bruce and Paul was a ball. Thanks guys! After Knotts I drove south to La Jolla and went boating with friends. From there I duked it out with L.A. traffic to Santa Monica and up the coast via Malibu and spent the night in Cambria. Tuesday morning I had the greatest drive up Hwy 1 via Big Sur that anyone could dream of. Unbelievable is the best description! Another night with friends near Watsonville and I headed back to I-5 for the blitz home. I wanted to visit with Bruce in Medford last night but I was making such time, I was too early and drove until Albany (same place I broke down in) and smoked it home today.
I have to say to all I met, it was wonderful! We drove, we met, we partied and had one fabulous time! I'm curious if Dale F actually drove the s**t out of his car after I showed him some "driving techniques" on our Saturday night beer run. It was fun. Also to Henry and Dale B and Dale F, I'm still feeling bad about dragging you guys out at 6AM Sunday morning for that car gathering that actually happened on Saturday! I was still a fine drive and proved to me that I-5 does actually have a quiet time!
Gotta run and sort some business issues. I'll sort my pics and post some later.
Regards,
Rick

Sounds like you had a great trip home Rick. Lets just say I did drive it a little harder heading home - just cant get mine to jump like yours does.
The 6 am run Sunday was a blast, despite the empty Starbucks lot when we arrived at the coast.
Yep, we had fun - working on that CD for you. Hope to see you again
Scott, thanks for the follow up with Dale and the phone number for the hotel. Dale, it would be great to see you up this way. It sounds like Bruce will be mobile soon with his fresh engine and he will be at the Camp Out. See y'all there! That's "Southern" Canuk speak for see you all there, eh? See we're not all THAT different!
