tried the guy on JPS link site. id swear that is where i got my last one but he doesnt offer ANY Ca plates.
I found the same result. State government must have persuaded them to cease and desist.
It happened on January 1. I almost purchased one in late December but put it off. A few days later, they were gone. Email inquiries have been rudely and shortly responded to or ignored. I'm hoping there's an alternative.
cant believe there is only 1 guy in the U.S. that made them.
I got the feeling that it was never quite legal (you know how California is now) based on his evasive response. He wouldn't even acknowledge that they made them in the past. Just that "we do not offer California plates".

It's the metal plate (not the crappy plastic one they mostly sell) and you can choose both the background and character colors as well as the year.
Choose the 1956 with a yellow background and black characters and you should be there.

appears u can order the yellow-black but not the black-yellow. they were asked not to sell it after 1 3 12. they say there is lobbying going on to reverse it.
