HI I NEED SOME HELP I HAVE 2L TYPE 4 ENJIN WITH
TWO WEBER IDF 36 CARBS THE ENJIN HAS A HOT CAM/STREETCAM
WHATEVER THAT MEENS.THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS IT BAKFIRES AS I TAKE MY FOOT OF THE PEDAL THIS ONLY HAPPENS ROUND 2500 RPM CAN SOMONE HELP

most likely it is your carb settings. sounds like it could be one of two things. your carb linkage is loose and they are not syncing correctly or... you have a exhaust/manifold leak.

Just have someone follow you around the block tonight, you'll know which one is the problem in no time.

Louis--I just fixed my backfiring problem---I hada leak at where theexhaust attaches to theengine. I tightenedt after replacing the gaskets and it's perfect now.
