Picked up a factory Porsche Fuch wheel today to use as a spare(15x5-1/2 not 15x6). Got a great deal too.

I spotted a couple of Badges in a parts box and casually said, "Those would look good on my IM Speedster." He reached in grabbed them and handed them to me and said, "Here you go." Like on Monster Garage with Jesse James, a big "Freebie", "Nada", "Zip" "Zero" sign popped in my head.

One is a Stuttgart badge with a dancing black stallion and the other is Rallye badge from Monte Carlo (no date). Both are made in Spain.

What did I get? Free junk or ..?. I figure they were free so no loss, but I have no past experience with badges to know.

The Stuttgart badge is junk sold by all of the old accessory houses in the 1950's and 1960's; if the Monte Carlo badge is of the same type (chrome, looks like a gear) then it's of the same origin. Real Monte Carlo Rally badges (as opposed to ones that just say "Monte Carlo") are valuable if they're in excellent condition.
I just put on my first badge, and it looks better than I thought it wood. I got it from that site selling great stuff for the 50th anniversary. They have a Leather jacket with a huge leather Speedster on the back and other good stuff.
I will post their site address soon.
