Back in the day, the body builder was frequently a separate company from the assembler, e.g. "Body by Fisher" at GM during my youth. There were at least a couple for Porsche. Mine has a Reutter's badge on the passenger side. You probably can see it if you access my profile pics. (I'm currently on my iPhone).
Tweeks.com or klasse356.com I think have them. I'd recemend looking at a few cars on the 356 registry site for the badge as is on a real one and see if you like them. I did put the Drauz badge on mine, It's a personal preferance. your call.

Yeah, I'm with you. I dont pass the car off as real. We have a real Hemi Road Runner and it's a little irritating to park next to a clone. If the clone owner would just say it was a slant six originally, that's cool.
The question that I normally get is "what year is it?". I always answer "it's a replica of a '58. If it was real, I wouldn't be driving it.". I debated on the badges, but am happy with them. Most folks see it and enjoy it. It's been said before, everyone can tell that fake boobs are fake and, like our cars, they look great and are fun to play with.
Tom, That is pretty funny.... Thats right... thats what I care about.... hey, you can't sit here and say (Most of us anyway)... as that warm air is blowing, the growl of that Boxer, sawing the wheel, turning 13,500 rpms at 62 MPH... that at least once..... maybe only once... that you felt like you were driving a Speedster. Besides that fact, who cares, like you said, they are just fun.
What attracts me to this car, original, or replica, is the design. With regards to performance, my car could run rings around the original in power and handling. I also tell people 300 pounds lighter, more than double the horsepower, stiffer, and will never rust.
