Does anyone have any reference points they would be willing to share with me for badge placement? I've got the hood handle, speedster script for both fenders, the 1600 badge for the rear, and the Porsche script for the front and rear. I bought this car with no badges or hood handle and so there are no holes drilled in the body. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You can do a search on site and find tips on reversing drill to prevent gel coat chipping, using double sided mounting tape, reducing thickness of FG, and allowing for curve of nose.

Probably the first question most new owners want the answer to: and if I have missed it in all of my searching I am sorry, but while I could find detailed measurements for the rear badging from the South African documents, I cannot find the distance below the front boot lid (frunk) to place the Porsche badge on my newly acquired speedster. If someone could please tell me I would appreciate it. I went to the Peterson Car Museum Porsche display but was too shy to pull out a tape measure so the best I have so far is that it is about my index and middle finger width, but something more precise would be appreciated.

Based upon what we know about how these cars were built, I think you've discovered exactly how the Porsche factory measured it.
Measuring technique.
The special 70th Anniversary display at Peterson is good, although there were cars missing that I thought would have been part of a retrospective.
