Has anyone tried balancing beads for their wheels and tires?
One review said, for him, they worked when going straight but when going around a curve they migrated to the side of the tire and stopped working.
I also read that they might now work for lighter cars.

I tried 'em. No improvement.
Just get your wheels Road Force Balanced (sometimes called "Ride Balancing") at a place with a Hunter or equivalent Road Force balance machine. Usually costs around $25 per wheel and is WAY better than the regular balance machines.
Gordon, if the Road Force machine works on the car, fine.
But if the wheels need to come off the car, Michael still needs a balance adapter. See the other thread on Mobelwagen wheels.
If you want to spin the wheel on the car, you are dealing with a 1970's balancing device. I think the issue is hubcentricity and with a wide 5 how do you achieve that ? Will a plate to hold it take that into consideration?
