The new front discs are amazing, the car stops well and flat. Doesn't plunge to a stop. Really good. But the conversion required changing the spindle and bearings. Probably a good thing anyway. All parts bolt together really easily.

But yesterday while braking I felt that the passenger wheel would 'crack' or seem to move. Odd, I thought so I continued. Well, I took off the wheel and noticed that the NEW spindle hole for the ball joint is a little bigger than the original. The WASHER (old one) holding the joint in the spindle with a nut (old one) was working it's way into the spindle. Even the nut was trying to enter into the spindle hole. So the ball joint was moving. (scary SHITE) The washer was the same diameter. So in essence the ball joint was moving, hence the 'crack'.

So make sure you add an automotive quality washer to reinforce the ball joint throught the spindle. If you just converted make a double check to make sure it's OK.

Its better if you change the tie rod end to the correct size in lieu of using a larger washer. If I'm not mistaken, its the later model tie rod end.

No worries, the tie rods were changed since it takes the newer larger ones.... but it's the ball joints....
