I bought the Grant hub piece from Summit and it's just the hub.  You can use it by itself, but the steering wheel is only about 1/2" from the turn signal lever and you would be constantly hitting the lever with your fingers.

This is what I need, but CB is out of stock.

This is what I got from Summit.

Gotcha.  So I believe in this case what they are calling a boss is the same thing as a hub, one is just bigger/longer than the other.  I may have one of those CB hubs/bosses here from a belly pan car we worked on.  What year spline do you need and I'll compare.  Alternatively you could try and find a spacer wit the same pattern, I know they make them for Nardi and Momo, not sure about Grant/Flat 4.

On the later model columns we use,  have some adjustment at the input shaft of the steering box and can move the column almost 1" before having to use a deeper hub or a spacer...

@Troy Sloan. Try ISP west... They make their own and have a couple in stock... Dimensions / splines posted on the attached link. They make part for all vw types/yrs.

It's also the part VS / Kirk uses when they install banjo wheels on new builds... At least when he built my car.  Will give you ~ 3" between the wheel and blinker arm.

Same part as flat4 part you are looking for, but built by ISP.

Good luck.
